New Frontiers in High-Energy Physics

Part of the book series: Studies in the Natural Sciences ((SNS,volume 14))

Abstract

My talk will have four parts. I will first define the various spin dependent cross sections that can be measured. I will then describe the hardware that is necessary to measure these cross section. Third, I will show some of our recent results on spin effects at large transverse momentum. Finally I will try to say how these results affect our understanding of the short range nucleon-nucleon interaction.
