Abstract

The most common toxicities observed with cisplatin administration are nausea, vomiting, renal tubular damage, ototoxicity, peripheral neuropathy, myelosuppression, tetany and allergic reactions. The objective of this session was to bring together investigators actively involved in research on platinum toxicity in order to present data generated in their laboratories and to discuss the possible mechanisms of these toxicities.
