Abstract

This paper is an investigation of how computer graphics digital pen plotters are used to produce high quality hard copy. The paper limits discussion to defining pen plotters and to various examples of both military and civilian use. Pen plotters increase productivity by allowing better understanding of data as well as enabling the user to view the data faster than traditional manual methods.
