Abstract

The consequences of the reactions of polymers, such as poly(butadiene), ABS, and polypropylene, with atmospheric oxygen range from changes in color, flow, impact strength, etc., to explosion and fire, i.e.,. substrate + oxygen → oxidative degradation.
