Abstract
Eizner and Ptitsyn[1] have treated the intrinsic viscosity of semi-rigid macromolecules in the light of the intrinsic viscosity equation of Peterlin[2,3], and the “wormlike” chain of Kratky and Porod[4]. In this communication we study the behavior of the Ptitsyn-Eizner’s λ parameter for several PMMA fractions, of very narrow distributions, in several solvents in a wide range of temperature.
