Abstract
In the words of Lee A. Iacocca, chairman of Chrysler, “This is the most computerized, most robotized plant in Chrysler—a high-technology assembly operation.” The modernized Windsor, Canada facility is equipped with the latest manufacturing processes and systems, including 125 robots that weld, braze, paint, seal, apply urethane to glass, and transfer assemblies.
