Abstract
To a large degree, all of the foregoing pages have addressed at least these three objectives:
-
(1)
Offering general information about work-station principles, current state of the art, and available equipment and systems
-
(2)
Providing mechanisms, particularly the worksheets, to provoke you into thinking seriously about your needs vis-a-vis work station/office automation and assisting you in assimilating the information
-
(3)
Providing the basis—again, the worksheets—for developing a final specification or, perhaps more accurately, a set of specifications of the ideal system, to help you select or assemble the system that comes closest to meeting those specifications
We have now reached the goal; it is time to translate all that we have disclosed, examined, discussed, analyzed, and dissected, and create our final plan for decisive action.
