Abstract
F0RM2DE is a two-dimensional elastic forward modeling program designed and developed especially for the CYBER 205. The first development effort was pursued at Texaco in Houston, using their CYBER 205, and resulted in a kernel that solved the mathematical problem, as documented in “A Vector Elastic Model for the CYBER 205” [1]. The research was supported by a joint research grant from Texaco and Control Data Corporation.
