Abstract

The highlight of 1983 has been the award of the Nobel Prize for Chemistry to Professor Henry Taube. The award recognizes Taube’s fundamental contributions to the study of inorganic mechanisms, and especially to the mechanisms of electron transfer. Appropriately, Volume 30 of Progress in Inorganic Chemistry is devoted to reviews of areas in which Taube has worked.(1)
