Abstract

Reports on the subunit structure and molecular weight of the major apolipoprotein of the low density lipoproteins (LDL), apoB, are contradictory (1–5). Results from immunochemical studies have suggested that apoB may contain more than one polypeptide (4). In this paper we report on the isolation and partial characterization of two polypeptides belonging to apoB.
