Abstract
The plasmatic values of apoprotein A, (Apo A1), Apo B and of the classical lipidic components (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL and LDL-cholesterol) were studied on 30 patients with acute coronary insufficiency (ACI) and 50 patients on the first day of an acute myocardial infarction (AMI), and compared with those of a control group of 150 subjects. The apoproteins were measured by electro-immunodiffusion on agarose gel. The apo A1 was quantified by reference to a pool of normal serum, and apo B by reference to a titrated serum. The normal values obtained were (m± S):HDL-C: 1.16± 0.33 mmol/1 apo A1 = 0.85±= 0.18; Apo B: 0.73±0.22 g/1: LDL-C=4.02±1.03 mmol/m. For patients with ACI and AMI, the values of HDL-C(1.14+0.33) and of apo A1(0.84±0.18)were not different from those of the control group. On the other hand the values of apo B and of LDL-C were significantly increased in ACI, being respectively: 0.90±0.20 and 4.82±1.24 (p<0.001) and in case of AMI, respectively:0.84±0.24 and 4.41±1.36 (p<0.01).
