Abstract
This paper presents some findings on the acute, subacute and long-term post-traumatic stress reactions in subjects who were exposed to a devastating industrial explosion that was followed by a giant fire. The disaster was perceived by the victims as accidental and not as a result of human failure, accordingly their traumatization does not represent victimology in the strict sense of that term.
