Pre-operative stereo-scanning for glioma treatment planning

Abstract

A simple accurate readily reproducible instrument (SCID) is described in use for the pathological diagnosis and treatment of brain gliomas. The interface facilitates CT targeting within the stereotactic system for biopsy and irradiation.
