Abstract

As a result of the divestiture of the Bell System, AT&T Communications is faced with creating and maintaining various geographic maps that would be used by organizations ranging from Planning and Design Engineering through Business Research and Marketing. Many of these applications were previously supported by the Bell Operating Companies or contracted to outside vendors.
