Abstract
The successful use of business computer graphics typically develops in a major company from the company’s growing use of large-scale computer systems. At Pepsi-Cola, and its parent, PepsiCo, the use of computer graphics evolved from the Company’s desire to develop more efficient and effective methods of communicating information to decision-making executives, to identify opportunities and risks, and to find new tools to help with the decision-making process. The resulting graphics were made an effective business tool through systematically planning and executing presentation and interactive graphics. The determined effort at PepsiCo has brought the corporation to the forefront in the field of business computer graphics. Magazine/Newspaper articles in the United States have saluted PepsiCo’s success in using computer graphics as a business tool and in integrating them into the corporation’s operations.
