On Edge Detection of Trihedrical Vertexes

Abstract

In this paper we analyse,for an ideal trihedical vertex,geometrical and topological properties of edges detected with the Marr and Hildreth approach. On the basis of this properties, it would possible to identify and eliminate spurious edges originating from the adopted edge detection procedure.
