Abstract

Biological researchers studying basic and therapeutic strategies in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and other age-related neuropsychiatric disorders have noted the critical need for interdisciplinary studies describing the untreated natural history of families of dementia patients (Heston, 1984; Clayton, 1984; Knopman, 1984).
