Abstract

This report discusses an informational poster paper on acoustic imaging presented at the 1984 Sagamore Conference. Ultrasonic velocity, attenuation, defect, and contact C-scan maps are illustrated and discussed. This report also shows images of ultrasonic beam radiation patterns. All of the acoustic images presented in this paper are part of an on-going effort at AMMRC in the area of microcomputer based ultrasonic imaging.
