Abstract
Management of tachyarrhythmias includes at least one of the following goals: 1) termination of the arrhythmia, 2) control of the ventricular response, or 3) prevention of recurrences. Many cardioactive drugs have antiarrhythmic activity even if they are not primarily determined to be antiarrhythmic agents.
