Abstract
Since pulse oxymetry was introduced in clinical medicine recently, two non-invasive techniques to measure oxygen concentration in human blood are available. Each of these methods offers advantages and disadvantages which may be evaluated by direct comparison but in order to assess their precision they have to be compared against a standard method.
