In my talk I want to discuss results regarding the critical structure of U(1) lattice gauge theory obtained in two independent studies. The emphasis is put on the study of the flow structure in coupling constant space1. Further results come from a collaboration with Claudio Rebbi2 where we studied the critical exponents in the even and the odd sector of the renormalization group transformations.
