Abstract

With the size, complexity, and structure of today’s organizations they need dynamic information systems. These systems are computerized, and until recently, predominantly mainframe. With the advent of microcomputer technology we are experiencing the proliferation of computers through the organization to assist in the management of information. This change offers the information, greater response time, more control over information management, and more immediate output (Mazursky, 1984).
