Waterless Microemulsions — 3: Formamide, a Substitute of Water

Abstract

We report here our recent results on the formation and the structure of waterless microemulsions in which formamide was substituted for water in four component systems. In drawing pseudo-ternary phase diagrams, we used transparency criteria to determine the microemulsion monophasic areas.
