Abstract

Schizophrenia is one of many common disorders of unknown etiology. With the use of modern techniques, observations concerning the biological abnormalities of this disorder have increased. This in turn has lent support to the hypothesis of involvement of environmental factors in the pathogenesis of schizophrenia.
