Abstract
We have seen data on the natural history of Stage B prostate cancer, which address the degree of variability in tumor host interactions that confound our analyses of treatment outcome with what we call the “biology of the tumor”. Since the criteria of tumor innocence have not been developed, we continued to address all of our B1 and B2 lesions in approximately the same fashion. We have seen though the importance of supporting attempts to analyze and separate the so-called innocent tumors from those that are other than innocent.
