Abstract

The buyer’s involvement with CIM implementation does not end with signing the purchase agreement. Although the vendor is supplying all of the parts and will help the buyer put them together, the buyer must prepare for CIM, assist the vendor in its installation, and begin to debug the system. Every effort made to maintain a partnership with the vendor during this phase of the project will provide dividends in the long run.
