Abstract

It is difficult to make a factual determination on the competitiveness of CIM producers in one country versus those in another because producers within a country can vary considerably in ability; quantifiable data that forms a basis for comparison is generally proprietary, and qualitative measures can be subjective. Competitiveness depends on a number of factors. Each of these factors will be considered separately followed by an overall assessment.
