Abstract
The AL compiler has been successfully used to compile many scientific programs to the Warp machine [19, 20]. In this chapter, we present some examples and evaluate the achieved performance These samples include representative algorithms for matrix computations (LU decomposition, QR decomposition and singular value decomposition), signal processing (2D-FFT) and numerical solutions of partial differential equations (SOR).
