Abstract
Neuroradiology has evolved rapidly since Roentgen first discovered the X-ray in 1895. Fractures and foreign bodies were the first to be appreciated. However, intracranial disease had to demonstrate some effect on the surrounding bone or normal physiologic calcifications to be appreciated on the skull radiograph.
