Abstract
This chapter highlights the remaining five wireless access standards for the 2 GHz PCS. They are:

The high tier TDMA system based on the European TDMA cellular standard referred to as the Global System for Mobile (GSM)

The Personal Access Communications System (PACS)

The Wideband CDMA system
-
The composite CDMA/TDMA system
-
The DECT-based system
Sections 5.1 through 5.5 discuss the systems for the licensed PCS operation; and Section 5.6 discusses the systems for the unlicensed PCS operation.
