Abstract
Thermoplastic hot-melt adhesives are generally based on EVA, polyesters or polyamides (including nylon). Although there are also a small number of polyolefin- and polyurethane-based products. All consist of a base polymer blended with a variety of additives (other thermoplastics, waxes, oils, extenders, etc.) to modify their melt, flow and setting characteristics and their adhesive properties.
