Abstract

A story on how an attempt to realize W. Heisenberg’s idea that the neutrino might be a Goldstone particle had led in its development to the discovery of a supergravity action.

  1. 1.

    Introduction

  2. 2.

Goldstone fermions, super-Poincaré group and its spontaneous breaking

  3. 3.

    Gauged super-Poincaré group

  4. 4.

    Supergravity action and super-Higgs effect

  5. 5.

Superspace formulation of Supergravity (first steps into Superspace)
