Rapid Prototyping Expert Systems

Once an expert system project is approved, the initial phase in expert system development is prototyping to verify the concept. The final phase is the refining and delivering of the expert system after the user is satisfied with the prototype. This chapter covers the tasks entailed in prototyping of an expert system, and Chapter 10 examines issues of refining and delivering expert systems.
