Abstract
We present a method to calculate photoionization and scattering cross sections for hydrogen atoms in magnetic fields of arbitrary strengths. The method is based on a coordinate transformation from spherical coordinates in the vicinity of the nucleus, where the Coulomb attraction dominates, to cylindrical coordinates in the asymptotic region.
