Abstract

Positrons annihilating at a molybdenum surface have been studied with a beam apparatus. A new extended method of analysis has been employed to model the annihilation spectra as function of incident positron energy. The results indicate that epithermal emission can be accounted for by elastic scattering of positrons near the surface.
