Abstract
Experimental and theoretical studies of quantum fluid mixtures are of actual interest and can provide important contributions for an understanding of fundamental macroscopic quantum many-body effects. Liquid 4He provides the simplest theoretical model of a binary boson mixture by assuming that a fraction of 4He atoms my be distinguished (say by ‘coloring’ them) from the rest. As a representative sample of more complex binary quantum fluid mixtures we may list mixtures of spin-polgrized hydrogen and tritium (H↓-T↓) /l/ or of isotopic helium atoms (6 3He) 4 4He/2/, solutions of tritium in helium (T↓- 4He) /3/ or the classic 3He-4He) system /4/.
