On the Production of Superheavy Elements and the Limitations to Go Beyond

  • P. Armbruster

Abstract

All the work I present has been achieved by a group of physicists, the ‘SHIPPERS’ working together since about 10 years. To the work contributed during the years more than 20 physicists. To mention all names is impossible but I will give a few names, and I acknowledge that without each of them this paper would not have been presented: G. Münzenberg, F.P. Heßberger, S. Hofmann, W. Reisdorf, K.-H. Schmidt, and the Ph.D. students C.C. Sahm and J.G. Keller.
