Optical Correlation Functions and Squeezing in The Jaynes-Cummings Model

Abstract

In this paper we examine the electric field in the Jaynes-Cummings model to learn how the field is modified in interaction with a two level atom. Although some aspects of this interaction are well known, we show that the model is a rich source of additional insight.
