A Semi-Classical Linear Input Output Transformation for Quantum Fluctuations

Abstract

Quantum fluctuations of the fields emitted by optical parametric oscillators (OPO) have been studied in great detail. It has been shown theoretically1–2 and demonstrated experimentally3 that OPO are able to squeeze quantum fluctuations of one quadrature component of the field 4.
