Abstract

As in previous articles this review covers the literature for a period of some eighteen months, beginning in this case from January 1987. The present review does not contain a section on the reactions of coordinated ligands as this work is now incorporated in Chapter 12. Articles of general interest published during the period include a review(1) dealing with some recent developments in the mechanisms of reactions of metal complexes that has a strong emphasis on the reactions of cobalt(III) complexes. A very useful text on the mechanisms of inorganic reactions has appeared.(2)
