Electron Microscopic Localization of Peptide- like Immunoreactivity in Labelled Dorsal Root Terminals in the Spinal Substantia Gelatinosa of the Monkey

  • Chapter

Abstract

During the past 15 years, there has been an explosion of information about the localization of peptide substances in the peripheral and central nervous system. This information has been derived largely from immunocytochemical studies which use antibodies that are specific for certain peptides to label the peptides in situ in fixed brain tissue.
