Chemical Speciation of Metal Ions in the Ruminal and Abomasal Fluid of Sheep

  • Julian Lee

Abstract

The chemical form of a metal or ligand is more relevant to bioactivity than the total amount present and therefore the quantitation and characterization of specific metal ion species will increase our understanding of factors controlling availability, transport and absorption of elements.
