Study of the Spin Structure of the \( \overline p \)p → \( \overline n \)n Channel at Lear

  • Chapter
Antiproton-Nucleon and Antiproton-Nucleus Interactions

Abstract

Experiment PS 199 will measure the differential cross-section, the polarisation parameter P and the spin transfer D of the charge exchange reaction p̄p → ṁn from 500 to 1500 MeV/c.

Measurement techniques and future possibilities offered by the present apparatus are presented.
