Abstract
The component of Magnetocardiogram(MCG) perpendicular to the anterior chest has been recorded in almost all the reports except a few of them. The conventional method is to detect the location of equivalent current dipole by using the iso-magnetic field mapping over the anterior chest. This method is unavailable when the order and/or number of poles increase. It is significant to carry out vector measurement of MCG to estimate the current elements associated with intracardiac electrical events more precisely. We carried out vector measurement of MCG by using vector SQUID system and tried to estimate the cardiac activities by the distribution of magnetic field vector over the anterior chest.
