Abstract
Thin film alkali-oxide glasses could be used as electrolytes in solid state batteries. Recent studies on the B2O3-Li2O family have been reported on bulk materia11,2. Some of these glasses have a conductivity of the order of 10−2 S/cm at 600 K and the conductivity increases as the lithium halide increases3. Levasseur et al.4 have reported the elaboration and characterization of lithium conducting thin film glasses prepared from binary glassy material.
