Abstract
Relationships between the irreducible representations at different k vectors are called compatibility relations.38 Compatibility relations provide information to correctly label, e.g., branches of phonon dispersion curves which have split from a single curve.39 In Table 29 (see Appendix II) we have tabulated all compatibility relations for the-eighty layer groups. For example, for group 40, p2/m21/m2/a, we have the following subtable of compatibility relations:
