Abstract

A technique whereby Genetic Algorithms can be used for the optmisation of Grey-Scale Soft Morphological Filters is introduced. Soft Morphological Filters and Genetic Algorithms are briefly reviewed. Results of applying the optimisation method to noise-reduction problems are shown.
