Abstract

Effective, institutionalized corrective action is a vital component to Quality Improvement. Corrective action must become an integral part of our organization’s culture. We can no longer see problem areas or processes as an acceptable or normal part of business. Business can no longer be seen as a random series of problems which arise and to which we must react, ‘hopping from fire to fire, from crisis to crisis’.
