Abstract
Central and Eastern Europe (C&EE) lack effective partnership and financial support for technology transfer and the commercial implementation of practical programmes. Recognition and effective support for the rapidly-growing private sector environmental technology industry is a key to the future well-being of C&EE countries and their sustained technology relationship with the West.
