Abstract

In this section the ground ring is an arbitrary field k of characteristic zero. A simply connected topological space X is called rationally elliptic if it satisfies the two conditions: dim H * (X; ℚ) < ∞ and dim π* (X) ⊗ ℚ < ∞ .
